For almost 20 years I’ve helped clients address the effects of anxiety, depression, mood swings, behavior problems, poor self-image, trauma, big life changes and other challenges. In recent years and with extensive training, I’ve narrowed my scope to specialize working with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety and related disorders serving children (10+), teens, adults and families. I assist clients to better understand their difficulties, resolve anxiety and doubt, restore trust in themselves and improve functioning and self-confidence. I use Inference-based Cognitive Behavior Therapy (I-CBT), Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other evidence-based therapy approaches tailored to each unique person’s or family’s needs. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon, having completed my Master’s in counseling from Portland State University. Passionate about my work, my approach is practical, honest, creative and hopeful.
